New to Canada?

Your first car in Canada, without the stress.

The Newcomer Car Package: someone who knows the GTA car market helps you choose, check, buy and register the right car. $399, one price, start to finish.

Why it's hard

Buying a car in a new country is different.

No Canadian history

No credit or Canadian driving history can make financing and insurance harder and more expensive. We explain your options so you can plan for it.

A new market

Prices, models and how private sales work are different here. Liens, UVIPs and safety certificates are new to most people.

Easy target for scams

Deposit scams, curbsiders and cars with hidden problems often target buyers who don't know the local rules yet.

Pressure at dealers

Extra fees, add-ons and high-interest financing are easy to agree to when you're in a hurry to get a car.

What's included

Five steps, one person on your side.

1

Plan call (30–45 min)

We talk about your budget, your daily drive and your family. You get a shortlist of reliable models and the real monthly cost, not just the sticker price: insurance, gas, maintenance and registration.

2

Find the right car

Send us the listings you like from Marketplace, Kijiji, AutoTrader or dealers. We review them and flag scams, curbsiders, bad prices and cars to skip.

3

Full inspection

One complete CarTick pre-purchase inspection on the car you choose: OBD-II scan, UVIP and lien check, and a written report with photos.

4

Negotiate and buy

We help you make an offer based on what the inspection found. At a dealer, we can explain the fees and add-ons before you sign.

5

Paperwork made simple

Step by step through the bill of sale, ownership transfer, Safety Standards Certificate and plates at ServiceOntario, so nothing is missed.
